A Note from President Fuller

TO ALL MONROE COUNTY FIRE POLICE, I ISSUE YOU A CHALLENGE!

With all the open houses and school visitations coming up in October, I urge our members to participate with
their local departments in getting the word out on fire prevention, but do it as Fire Police!  Wear you own gear that
you use on the road, so you will be recognized when come upon during an incident.  If asked questions, answer
them the best you can about what we do and why we exist.  We must start to promote ourselves to the public to
help ourselves be safe at incidents.
Of course, get permission from your Chief before hand, we want good relations always.  I hope that they will
be responsive to the idea. Just explain to them why you want to do it, safer for us so we can provide safety for
them, and as always,
BE SAFE OUT THERE!
